Sexy as you are!

These days there is so much going on in the world. Woman and men alike are speaking about what it means to be sexy. I think sexy comes in lots of different forms. It's shown through more than just looks. I think it truly has to come from within first. You have to "feel" sexy first, right?

I came across a video by Loey Lane made with the lingerie company, Adore Me.
(Here is a link in case you can't see the video: Loey Lane)

She talks about what she feels is sexy. She shares some of Adore Me's cute and sexy lingerie. I think she did an awesome job with the video and I love how confident she is. It was a short video but it got me thinking about what I conceive as sexy.

I wanted to share some of my thoughts with you all about how I feel in my own skin, my thoughts on sexiness, and how I help myself feel great.

I have flaws just like everyone else so there are days when i don't like things about my body, but the good body days for sure out weigh the bad. That is partly because I know everyone has silly problems with cellulite, bra bulge, and back fat. The key is to keep your focus on the parts of your body that you love. I just keep in mind that although I might not have some things other women have but I might have things they wish they had (like my long legs my friends always mention).

I know most people thinks "sexy" is a style of dress. Yes, that has something to do with it, but it is a small part. You could go out an buy all the lingerie in the world but of you don't feel confident when you put it on then it doesn't have the same effect. So, for me confidence is key. In other words, confidence is sexy.

I do several things to keep myself feeling sexy. I try to eat right, stay active, and be healthy. I do beauty routines from time to time because everyone likes a little pampering. These routines include manicures/pedicures, plucking my eyebrows, conditioning my hair, and moisturizing my skin. I keep up with my wardrobe because, like i said earlier, what you wear does have a little something to do with sexiness. I also follow people that I am inspired by on social media for encouragement.

All this is said to let you all know that you have to feel great in your own skin before anything else. Don't focus on what others are saying, just focus on what is important to you and beautiful things can happen.
