I often have some issues with motivation due to my anxiety. It's tough to pep myself up every once in a while, so i try to keep myself in a positive environment. I decided to share some of the ways I keep myself motivated on my youtube channel. Hopefully you will check it out and maybe get some inspiration to try one of them yourself. I hope you all enjoy!
I love shoes, plain and simple. I have plenty, that's for sure. I decided to film a video to give you all a little insight into my shoe collection. I store all my shoes on shelves so that I can see just where everything is. It also makes it easier to pick out a pair when searching for an outfit. I like to add a few little decor pieces in between to keep the shelves interesting.
You can take a look at my video below. Make sure to subscribe if you like it and are interested in seeing more like it.
Thank you for watching!
I like minimal style with fun pops of color.
Stay tuned for my next post and hopefully my next video too!
If you are like me, then you love to travel! It doesn't matter where I go, I just love to be on the go. There are so many new places to explore in the world. So to me, that means I have a lot of places to go! If you think about it, there are tons of people in the world with lots of different cultures to learn from. Being able to watch and learn from others can really broaden the way you think.

"That feeling stuck with me and now I want to search farther than just my neighborhood, I want to see the whole world!"
______________________________________________________
I think my love of travel comes from two things. One is from back when I was a kid, I use to love when my brother and I would suit up and go explore the neighborhood. It didn't matter how many times we went out, I was always searching to find new things That "explorer" feeling stuck with me and now I want to search farther than just my neighborhood, I want to see the whole world! The other reason, is my dad. He used to work as a tractor trailer driver, so he traveled all the time. He used to tell my brother and I stories about all the places he had seen. It made him so happy that he got to see all those places. I decided I wanted that too, so I decided back then that I would see as many places as I could.
What I wear:
Since I like to travel, I decided to share one of my favorite travel looks with you. I like to wear loose fitting tops most of the time or a tank top in the warmer months. I always carry a jacket with me in case it's chilly on the plane, train or at the airport. I usually go with a pair of leggings or stretchy jeans for my bottoms. That way I can bend and move around easily. On my feet, I wear sneakers, sandals, boots that are easy to slip on and off since each airport has different security rules and you never know when you will have to take your shoes off.
Packing:
When it comes to packing, I generally stick to a carry-on and a personal bag for short trips. For the trips that require more clothes or last longer, I use my large suitcase and personal bag.
I generally like to think about what I am going to pack ahead of time because I don't want to waste space. I take into account the weather where I will be going, the events I will attend, and how long I will be there. After all that is determined, I pull out a bunch of clothes start to put together looks.

I chose a big personal bag so that I can fit all of the "essentials". This is a peek at what I take with me, I always remember to take an extra pair of underwear and socks in there as well, because you never know if you will get separated from your main luggage. Trust me, I have been through the "lost luggage" struggle more than once. It's best to be prepared in case that happens.

Inside my suitcase:
Like I mentioned before, I use a carry-on size and a large size suitcase. Most of the time I reach for my carry-on just because its easier and you don't have to worry about checking anything at the airport. This is a sample of what I would pack for a 5-7 day trip. I take pieces that I can mix and match together with each other. That way I cut down on suitcase clutter. If you keep the items limited then it will also cut down on the weight as well. It is up to you what you decide to pack just make sure to try everything on before you pack it up. You don't want to get there and realize your outfit wasn't what you had expected or worse, that it doesn't fit. Playing around with different looks can be fun, so I say get in that closet and figure it out early.
I live in an area where there are a lot of military families. I always thought the uniforms they are wear were cool. I was searching through one of my local Goodwill stores (as I often do) and came across an awesome find. Someone had donated all of their former uniforms, so I was able to score an authentic jacket. Needless to say, I was super excited! I have been searching for the perfect one for months. It's the perfect length and size for me. So in honor of my new treasure, I thought I would throw out some styling tips for those of you who would like to create your own camo style.

Camo can add a touch of "toughness" to any outfit. There are no rules when it comes to how you style it. You can throw on sneakers or heels, a skirt or jeans, or even a little black dress, the choice is yours. I tried to do a variety of looks to show the versatility of the jacket.
The "Casual Chic" Look
I like this look because it is comfy yet cute. Every girl has their favorite pair of jeans so this look is great for anyone. I like the easy going feel to it. I chose to dress it up with nude heels because it gives it adds a little chicness to the edgy feel of the jacket. You can wear flats or heels depending on your mood or where you are going.
The "Chill" Look
This look was easy to shoot thanks to the stretchy pants and sneakers. Everything is basic so you can find the pieces just about anywhere. This look is perfect for errands, hanging out with friends, or even to wear during travel.
The "Little Black Dress" Look
This look was one of my favorites because it is so versatile. You could switch our the hat (this one I actually borrowed from my boyfriend since I think it looks pretty good on me) and shoes to give it a whole different vibe. These boots lace all the way up to the top which is sort of an accessory in itself so I wore a basic black dress. That way the focus would be on the jacket and the boots. This look is great for a night out or a day date with friends.
The "Dressy But Not Too Dressy" Look
I chose this dress mainly because of the color. I have been obsessed with it lately. The fabric is also super soft so it easy to wear. The thigh high boots and long sleeves make it easy to wear this look during the Fall and Winter. You could switch out the boots for flats or sneakers if you wanted to wear it in the summer. It could also look cute it you tie the jacket around your waist. You could wear this look to class, out to a game, or while running around the city.
I had fun shooting these looks because I kept coming up with new ideas for how to wear my jacket. There are so many more looks I could create, but that could take forever to post. I will definitely be posting new looks on my social media accounts though.
